Miracles and Healings – 10/10/10

   We prayed for the healing of Julie’s rotator cuff and that she would not need to have surgery. She went to the surgeon. He said she only needed a shot and physical therapy! Thank You, Jesus!

   We also prayed that the surgeon would say that Tom would not need surgery to repair his torn left bicep. The surgeon said it wasn’t necessary! God is amazing!

   Joan had an allergic reaction and was taken off her blood pressure medication. We prayed for God to keep her blood pressure level at a great and safe place. And God is doing just that! (4 months later, God is still doing this!). Thank You, Jesus!

   Kim prays every day for safety while driving – both for himself and others. Last Thursday he ws broadsided by a fire truck. It totaled his van. Kim was able to walk afterwards. The ambulancde ride turned out to be both fast and smooth!!! He was hurting terribly in the emergency room. We prayed for that to stop and for his healing. After the pray, the pain went completely away! God is awesome!

Miracles and Healings – 10/3/10

   We prayed against cancer being in the tumor of Tammy. Test showed she is cancer free! God is good!

   Hudson is one of the premature twins. We’ve prayed for both of them for continued healing and growth. Hudson had a hole in his heart that needed to be repaired. The specialist never comes to the hospital where Hudson was staying, but God! The specialist came and decided then and there to do the surgery. The hole was repaird and Hudson is making great strides forward in health and growth as a result1 God is so good!

   Stan went in to have his gall bladder removed. That was done along with having a hernia fixed. He came through in such great shape that there were no complications, no nausea, and able to eat. The next morning he walked from his room to his truck and then into the drugstore to get his medication. God is awesome! Thank You, Jesus!

Miracles and Healings – 9/26/10

   We prayed for several weeks for Bob to be able to get a different job with better hours. Last week he started on a new job – first time on 1st shift in ten years, and a Mon.-Fri. schedule too! Thank You, Jesus!

   When Michelle went into the hospital last Monday, we prayed not only for her healing, but also for baby Chloe not to be born before God’s appointed time. Because Michelle was in the hospital the doctor saw Chloe’s heart rate suddenly drop and come up, and drop and come up. The next morning – Tuesday – Chloe was born following an emergency C-section. She was six weeks early. And God did not stop there. She was breathing on her own by Wednesday, eating on her own by Thursday, and in the room with her mom Michelle by Friday! Thank You, Jesus!

Miracles and Healings – 9/19/10

   Months ago we began praying when a mass was found at the base of Jeremy’s brain stem. The next test showed it had stopped growing. We kept praying. The next test showed that it began to shrink. The last test showed it wasn’t there any more!! Thank You, Jesus!

   Brynn went to the hospital facing the need for a heart transplant. We prayed for God to either provide a new heart or to strengthen the one she had. Well, God so strengthened the heart she had that all she needed was a difibrilator! Thank You, Jesus!

Miracles and Healings – 9/12/10

   John accidentally placed his hand on a hot manifold. He felt and heard his skin sizzling. He immediately pulled away from the manifold, put his other hand on the wounded place and prayed in Jesus’ Name for healing. The pain left. His flesh returned to its normal color! Thank You, Jesus!

   Delays kept happening for the closing of the house Mrs. D was hoping to buy. When another delay came up we were asked to pray. We did. God intervened. The closing happened even though not everything needed for a closing was there! What an awesome God!

   Paula was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 5 weeks before. We prayed in Jesus’ Name, and in His Name, we cursed the cancer, commanding it to die and come out of her body. Last week the surgeon removed 100% of the pancreatic cancer! Thank You, Jesus!

Miracles and Healings – 9/5/10

   Marge fell in her garden, ramming the bone in her nose into her brain. We began praying. Trauma team at a special hospital said surgery was too dangerous. We prayed some more. Next day, the Dr. took his hand and pulled the bone down, putting it back into place. No bleeding and no hemorrhaging. God is so good!

   We prayed for Tom’s surgery to be the simplest option the doctor had given him. Dr. said he wouldn’t know which option until he got in there. He went in, he just had to follow the simplest option! Thank You, Jesus!

   17 year old Elise was taken to the emergency room in pain. We began praying. Dr. thought it appendicitis. We prayed some more. The surgeon said it wasn’t appendicitis and sent her home. She woke up the next morning pain free. Whatever was there, God healed her! Thank You, Jesus!

   17 year old Stanley was having such severe seizures he became violent. Dr. needed to do tests on his brain last Monday. His mulitiple problems made that unlikely to happen. We prayed! Doctor was able to perform every test! Now the Doctor can decide on surgery. Thank You, Jesus!

Miracles and Healings – 8/29/10

   The other day we put a Josh on the prayer chain. His liver had failed. We prayed both for his healing and for his salvation. A close relative heard from God the day Josh died. The message was, “Today’s the day I’m him to be with Me!” The relative said the voice was as clear as could be. He got cold chills when he heard it and knew what it meant. After hearing from God, it wasn’t long before he got the call from the hospital about Josh’s death. Thank You, Jesus! Lifestyle choices led to his health problems but because of Jesus, mercy and love and forgiveness and living in the light is what Josh will know forever! Such an awesome God.

   Last Wednesday night we prayed for Tom’s urologist to quickly confirm the day and time of his surgery. The very next morning,  first thing, Tom’s surgeon called. Thank You, Lord!

   Last Thursday we prayed for God to uncover and make known the whereabouts of Nina Keown Petty. The very next day her body was found. The three weeks of searching came to an end. God is merciful!

   Last week we prayed for Jaiden to receive a good report both fromt he MRI of her brain and also from her eye doctor. (Remember, she was born blind. The optic nerve was not connected. The congregation surrounded her – she was 5 months old at the time – and we prayed for her healing. Two months later she began to see!) The reports from this check-up were good! God is so good!

Miracles and Healings – 8/22/10

We prayed and prayed for a very long time for  Nicholas to find work. He now has a job! Thank You, Jesus! In other words, keep persisting in prayer!

We started praying for Kenneth when he got an aggressive brain tumor 32 months ago. Regular chemo did not work. We prayed for God to work through the experimental chemo. 20 months ago the cancer went away! Last week’s check up could find no cancer in him anywhere! Thank You, Jesus!

Miracles and Healings – 8/15/10

We prayed for Baby Drew off and on for the past two years. We first prayed for her because she was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. God healed her of that! And she had no ill affects from the chemotherapy. Her latest check up shows that she is still cancer free! Praise the Lord!

6 month old Gracie suffered a cranial fracture and subdural hematoma last Friday. We prayed. She woke up in the ICU. She immediately started blowing bubbles and saying “DaDaDa”! She was sent home straight from the ICU. God is so good! (Months before this, while she was still in the womb, we prayed against her being miscarried. She was born healthy! What an awesome God!)

Miracles and Healings 8/8/10

On Aug. 2, two year old Hayden picked up a nail gun while his father was working on some project. Hayden shot himself in the heart. The doctor said Hayden needed a heart transplant. We began praying for his healing. On Aug. 6, Hayden ws moved out of ICU to a pediatric unit. All but 3 tubes were removed from his body! Then, today we learned that all the tubes were removed! He is being weaned from the medications and has no need for a new heart! God is so good!
